Setting Up Ledger Live

  1. Download and Install Ledger Live:

    • Go to the Ledger Live download page and download the app for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).

    • Install the application by following the on-screen instructions.

  2. Open Ledger Live:

    • Launch the Ledger Live application after installation.

  3. Initialize Your Ledger Device:

    • If you haven't already, connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer and follow the setup instructions provided by the Ledger Live app. This includes setting a PIN code and writing down your 24-word recovery phrase.

  4. Set Up a New Wallet or Restore an Existing One:

    • If you are restoring a wallet, choose "Restore from recovery phrase" and enter your 24-word recovery phrase.

Using Ledger Live

  1. Add Cryptocurrency Accounts:

    • Click "Add account" and select the cryptocurrency you want to manage. Follow the prompts to add the account.

  2. Manage Your Accounts:

    • View your balances and transaction history in the "Accounts" tab.

    • Go to the "Manager" tab in Ledger Live.

  4. Update Firmware:

    • Regularly check for firmware updates in the "Manager" tab to ensure your Ledger device has the latest security features and improvements.

  • Protect Your Recovery Phrase: Store your recovery phrase in a secure location and never share it with anyone.
