Ledger Live is the official software to manage your Ledger hardware wallet. It allows you to view your balances, send and receive cryptocurrencies, and manage your accounts securely. Here's a guide on how to set up and use Ledger Live:
Download and Install Ledger Live:
Go to the Ledger Live download page and download the app for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Install the application by following the on-screen instructions.
Open Ledger Live:
Launch the Ledger Live application after installation.
Initialize Your Ledger Device:
If you haven't already, connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer and follow the setup instructions provided by the Ledger Live app. This includes setting a PIN code and writing down your 24-word recovery phrase.
Set Up a New Wallet or Restore an Existing One:
If this is your first time using a Ledger device, choose "Initialize as new device" and follow the instructions.
If you are restoring a wallet, choose "Restore from recovery phrase" and enter your 24-word recovery phrase.
Add Cryptocurrency Accounts:
Open Ledger Live and navigate to the "Accounts" tab.

Manage Your Accounts:
View your balances and transaction history in the "Accounts" tab.
Send and receive cryptocurrencies using the "Send" and "Receive" options. Ensure your Ledger device is connected and unlocked when performing these actions.
Install Apps on Your Ledger Device:
Go to the "Manager" tab in Ledger Live.
Follow the prompts to install the necessary apps on your Ledger hardware wallet for the cryptocurrencies you want to manage.
Update Firmware:
Regularly check for firmware updates in the "Manager" tab to ensure your Ledger device has the latest security features and improvements.
Use a Secure Computer: Ensure your computer is free of malware and viruses.
Protect Your Recovery Phrase: Store your recovery phrase in a secure location and never share it with anyone.
Enable Additional Security Features: Consider enabling a passphrase for added security.
